Its effective organization not only addresses domestic demand but also contributes to the development of export-oriented potential, the attraction of foreign investment, and the strengthening of national economic competitiveness. As a key driver of economic development in any country, enhancing the competitiveness of the construction sector is crucial for fostering resilient economic growth, improving infrastructure quality, and increasing investment appeal.This study provides a systematic analysis of the construction sector’s competitiveness, drawing on both local and international practices. The analysis reveals that construction projects across various economic regions of Azerbaijan contribute not only to infrastructure renewal but also to enhancing the overall competitiveness of the construction sector.The conclusion notes that the transformation of the construction sector into a competitive, innovative, and sustainable industry is essential for broader economic development and societal well-being. While numerous challenges persist, coordinated efforts involving technological adoption, human capital enhancement, regulatory reform, financial facilitation, and sustainability integration offer a viable pathway forward.
