Genome assembly reveals 909.23 Mb and detailed mitochondrial DNA in Borostomias antarcticus, highlighting its genomic structure.
<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly of an individual <ns3:italic>Borostomias antarcticus</ns3:italic> (large-eye snaggletooth; Chordata; Actinopteri; Stomiiformes; Stomiidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 909.23 megabases. Most of the assembly (87.23%) is scaffolded into 37 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has been assembled, with a length of 17.77 kilobases.</ns3:p>
