In this paper, the scheme of a light‐guide plate with the curved‐ridge micro structures is proposed to reduce the usage of the brightness enhancement film (BEF) and maintain the luminous intensity at 0 degree angle. Due to the reduction of the BEF, the light efficiency can be increased and the cost can be reduced.
