Aim-The study of pharmaceutical counseling and the development of a methodological approach to assessing the effectiveness of implementation in HIV infection Materials and methods. The object of the study is patients with HIV infection (120) and pharmaceutical workers (50). The research methods used were content analysis, logical, sociological, statistical, modeling and forecasting, and others. The study was conducted using the sociological method of questionnaires and statistical processing in the Statistica 10 program. Results. An appropriate questionnaire was developed to situationally characterize the state of the problem under study, which included structured questions on the main sections of the study of pharmaceutical counseling and methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of implementation in HIV infection. A standard operating procedure (SOP) has been developed to improve the effectiveness of pharmaceutical consultations when prescribing medicines for the treatment of HIV infection. The study found that the level of knowledge and practical skills of pharmaceutical workers in the treatment and prevention of HIV infection before the introduction of SOP was 78.1% ± 0.82; after the introduction of SOP was 90.1% ± 0.59. The results of the analysis of the questionnaires of visitors to pharmacy organizations and pharmaceutical workers who have implemented the standard operating procedure (SOP) of pharmaceutical consulting into their practice have revealed certain positive trends. The positive dynamics of the knowledge level of pharmaceutical workers and patients has been established after the implementation of the developed organizational measures. Conclusion. Evaluation of the effectiveness of pharmaceutical consulting implementation allows us to identify the most effective methods and approaches, as well as identify areas for further improvement. The development and implementation of adapted pharmaceutical counseling programs can significantly improve the results of treatment of patients with HIV infection, as well as a methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of implementing a pharmaceutical counseling algorithm, contributing to improving the quality of specialized pharmaceutical care for HIV infection.
