Application of phosphogypsum and microbial treatments enhances nutrient absorption and soybean yield in arid conditions.
The study is devoted to the problem of increasing soil fertility in arid conditions of the Saratov Left Bank. Phosphogypsum in various dosages in combination with a microbiological preparation that promotes the absorption of nutrients by plants is used as a means of improving soil properties and increasing the yield of irrigated soybean crops. The study showed that the application of phosphogypsum effectively reduces the soil density before harvesting (0.92 g / cm3), and also leads to an increase in the yield of the studied crop. The application of a phosphogypsum dosage of 6.0 t / ha increased the studied parameter to 2.7 t / ha. Additional application of preparations based on microorganisms with phosphate-mobilizing properties increased the yield from 14 to 23% in the experimental variants.
