Traffic rule violations are one of the most common causes of traffic accidents worldwide. This situation has serious negative effects on both individual and public health. Every year, millions of people lose their lives or get injured in traffic accidents. Traffic accidents cause not only financial losses but also psychological and physical health issues. Especially, rule violations by young drivers pose a significant risk factor. It is believed that determining the effects of drivers' rule violations on their physical health will contribute to enhancing traffic safety. This study aims to examine the effects of drivers' rule violations on their physical health. Designed as a review study, this research employs a literature review method. Firstly, previously conducted academic studies, articles, and reports on traffic rule violations and driver health have been analyzed. Various databases and libraries have been utilized to collect data and identify valid and reliable sources. The obtained literature data have been evaluated through content analysis, a qualitative method. As a result of this compilation study, it was determined that in situations where compliance with traffic rules is low, there are significant negative effects on the physical and mental health of drivers. It is believed that organizing educational programs and awareness campaigns will be effective in increasing traffic safety and improving the health status of drivers.
