The Influence Of Reward And Commitment On Transformational Leadership And Its Impact On Job Satisfaction

This study investigates the influence of reward and commitment on transformational leadership and its impact on job satisfaction, focusing on the educational sector in Riau Province. The research utilizes Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and SmartPLS 4.0 to analyze the relationships among reward, commitment, transformational leadership, and job satisfaction. The results reveal that both reward and commitment significantly directly affect transformational leadership, which in turn plays a critical mediating role in enhancing job satisfaction. The path coefficients and bootstrapping analysis show strong statistical significance (p-value = 0.000), supporting the hypothesis that reward and commitment contribute to job satisfaction through transformational leadership. Furthermore, the model demonstrates high construct reliability and validity, with all variables meeting convergent and discriminant validity criteria. The findings emphasize the importance of providing rewards and fostering organizational commitment to create a supportive work environment that promotes employee well-being and satisfaction. This study contributes to the literature on transformational leadership, particularly in education, and provides practical insights for school leaders and policymakers aiming to improve teacher satisfaction and performance.
