In order to improve the test efficiency of an airborne fire control radar processing unit and solve the limitation that the repaired parts must be tested and fixed relying on the whole machine platform, an automatic test system scheme for the airborne fire control radar processing unit is developed. This system is based on the combination of GPIB bus and VXI bus. The software adopts a modular design scheme, with the test program separated from the data, and the development platform separated from the execution platform. This system greatly improves the test efficiency, can accurately diagnose faults, has good portability, and can be easily applied to the test of processing unit indicators of other types of radars.
