Experimental analysis reveals a 8% increase in live weight and 4% improvement in livestock safety with a plant-based feed additive.
Quail farming contributes to profitable production due to the fact that this type of bird is exposed to a minimum number of any diseases that are dangerous for most other types of poultry. Moreover, the distinctive feature of quails is their high productivity, even in very dense planting. The article presents the results of scientific and economic experience on the use of a feed additive of plant origin "Biogerm" instead of 3% of the main ration. The use of this feed additive provided an increase in live weight and gain by 45 days of fattening in the experimental group by 8%, livestock safety by 4%, with a decrease in feed costs by 0.65%. The strength of the effect of feed additive “Bioherm” on the productivity of quail Texas white breed is reliable, but insignificant and is 7%. Regression equations prove that quails that received the Biogerm feed additive instead of 3% of the main diet grew more intensively, which is confirmed by a decrease in the cost of feed per unit increase by 12.74 rubles. European Efficiency Productivity Factor of quails of the experimental group increased by 6.82 units.
