Qualitative analysis explores educational participation of young adults, indicating complex sociological factors.
This article, which aims to highlight the complex sociological and educational parameters associated with the educational paths of young adults, presents the results of a qualitative study conducted within the framework of the CLEAR project (HORIZON-Europe). The analyses of the interview material (20 young adults from Central Macedonia and Western Greece participated) relate to the educational paths and experiences of young adults, their current situation and future prospects, as well as educational opportunities at local and regional level. The analysis of the findings is based on three interrelated theoretical parameters of the project: life course, intersectionality, and spatial justice. As it can be seen, participation in education and training of young adults in the two regions under study is a multifactorial issue.
