Educational intervention improves knowledge about sexuality in adolescents, suggesting significant benefits.
The objective of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the educational intervention “Knowing My Sexuality” on the level of knowledge about sexuality in adolescents. The population was constituted by 24 adolescents of the 1st year of secondary education, of the Víctor Raúl Haya Educational Institution of the Tower of Buenos Aires. Trujillo A questionnaire on knowledge of sexuality was used before and after the educational intervention. The results are: the level of knowledge before applying the educational intervention was at the middle level and the holon Interpersonal affective bonding at the high level and after the educational intervention the majority is at the high level, according to the hypothesis , there is a positive change in the average score of the different holons. These results were corroborated with the T-Test for the variable X; where the level of knowledge has a value of p = 0.000 <0.01, so it is concluded that the educational intervention does have an effect on the level of knowledge about sexuality, as well as in the different holons, the p values were highly significant (p <0.01).
