This article reveals how AI transforms organizational change management practices, suggesting new strategies for consulting firms.
Integration of Artificial Intelligence in the Enterprise Resource Planning System is basically changing organizational change management approaches. Traditional ERP implementation historically requires adequate investment in training, SOP’s, and support structures for successful adoption. However, the emergence of the interactive AI interface is changing this scenario dramatically by reducing the cognitive burden on users and simplifying complex system interactions. This article examines the intensive impact of the AI-competent interface on organizational change management strategies and examines the implications for consulting firms specialized in these services. Research documents significant improvement in implementation timelines associated with the AI-augmented system in the user experience, adoption rates, and implementation timelines. Since traditional approaches have become less relevant, new models are emerging that emphasize microlearning, do-it-yourself, experience design, and AI literacy development. These represent a fundamental revaluation of organizational change management in the rapidly evolving AI-enabled business environment for the next generation of functioning consulting firms. This article ends by highlighting the importance of focusing on human-AI cooperation skills rather than technical system knowledge in maximizing the value of enterprise technology investment.
