Theoretical models show the impact of value added and profitability on grain exports, suggesting key factors for improvement.
The article presents a scientific and theoretical justification of the approach to assessing the effect and effectiveness of exporting grain and products based on it through indicators of value added and the ratio of value added to associate material costs. A model of export efficiency by value added is outlined, which determines the dependence of the target efficiency indicator on export profitability. Two four-factor models of export efficiency in terms of added value have been formed. In the first case, the resulting indicator depends on the profitability of exports, the turnover of export assets, the capital multiplier and equity coverage of material costs, in the second - on the profitability of exports, the share of exports in the value of production, returns on capital, and the coverage of fixed assets of material costs. The conditions for the variable construction of factor models of the key indicator are defined.
