After socio-environmental disasters, it is crucial to provide rapid protection to displaced or homeless populations. The construction of mobile structures is often adopted due to its quick installation and adaptability, but it frequently overlooks the socio-cultural context of the affected communities. This article presents the results of a design workshop focused on developing sustainable emergency solutions for the indigenous community of José Boiteux/SC, using local materials. The methodology included lectures with participants of the project "Sustainability Applied to the Design of Planned Camps," which covers technologies such as 3D printing and the use of local materials. Subsequently, participatory workshops were held to identify the specific needs of the community and develop adapted architectural proposals. As a result of the workshop, the camp implementation, shelter design, and selection of building materials were defined, promoting sustainable solutions to improve the community's living conditions in emergency situations.
