Case reports highlight surgical excision of multiple cavernous hemangiomas in two adult women, suggesting effective intervention.
Hemangiomas are rare vascular malformations involving any region, most commonly thorax, limbs and head and neck region. We report a series of 2 cases who underwent surgical management for multiple cavernous hemangiomas involving the head and neck. The 1 st case is a 20-year-old female with huge swelling over the right side of the face and neck, left-sided facial, swelling and over floor of the mouth, she underwent excision of right-sided huge mass with follow-up for remaining lesions. 2 nd case is 48 years old female with progressive swelling over both sides of neck for 10 years and dorsum of the tongue, she underwent surgical excision of bilateral neck swellings. Both cases pathological analysis suggestive of Cavernous hemangioma. Both of them were under regular follow-up for possible recurrence or progression of other lesions.
