This laboratory method quantifies chlorantraniliprole and deltamethrin in formulations, indicating its effectiveness for pest management.
AbstractA novel method has been developed and validated for quantification of chlorantraniliprole in granule and deltamethrin in suspension concentrate formulation, using ultra-fast liquid chromatography method, with C18 (250 mm × 4.6 mm, 5 µm) column, mixture of acetonitrile: orthophosphoric acid (0.1% in water) (60: 40 v/v) as mobile phase for chlorantraniliprole and methanol: water (90: 10 v/v) for deltamethrin. The detection was carried out at 254 nm for chlorantraniliprole and at 230 nm for deltamethrin. The linearity range was ~400-664 mg kg-1. The mean recovery was found to be 100% for chlorantraniliprole and 102% for deltamethrin. This method is also useful for quantification of chlorantraniliprole and deltamethrin in combination formulated products.
