Target program improves multicultural competencies in international students, highlighting its effectiveness.
The article discusses the current problem of the formation of multicultural competencies among international students at Ural Federal University (UrFU). The article analyzes the activities of the UrFU Students' Union in the context of the formation of multicultural competencies. The necessity of scientific and methodological support for the formation of multicultural competencies among students and the development of a target program is revealed. A targeted program has been developed and tested, including informational, interactive, and practical modules aimed at the formation of multicultural competencies among students. The study assessed the level of formation of multicultural competencies among students of the control and experimental groups before and after the implementation of the program. The results of the testing of the program confirmed its effectiveness in the formation of multicultural competencies, which makes it possible to recommend this program for implementation in the activities of student self-government bodies of universities.
