Observational analysis identifies mentoring challenges in preschool education, suggesting Agile values foster unity among teaching staff.
Introduction. More and more managers, methodologists (head teachers), and mentee-teachers (novice teachers or teachers with less than 3 years of experience) are becoming familiar with the conditions of mentoring application in the preschool education system every year; its tools (Garifullina 2022) are more complicated: the most difficult thing is to translate theoretical knowledge into practical application. This article reviews one of the tools of the mentoring concept - Agile values. Some scientists call it a technology, others call it a methodology, however, the most applicable for us in the education system is the concept of values and principles. The aim of the study is to investigate the distribution of Agile values among managers and teaching staff of a preschool educational organisation. Materials and methods. Application of 5 consecutive components of Agile-values aimed at forming the unity of the teaching staff in preschool educational organisation. Results and discussion. The presented results were tested on 498 respondents, 69 of whom were heads of preschool educational organisations in the Russian Federation (the study included the Moscow Region and Moscow, the Leningrad Region and St. Petersburg, the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan, the Samara Region and Samara, the Saratov Region and Saratov, the Volgograd Region and Volgograd, and the Nizhny Novgorod Region and Nizhny Novgorod). Conclusion. The main result was the identification of problems and their resolution in the application of Agile values.
