This method combines sliding mode control and cross-coupling control to improve synchronization in dual asynchronous motors.
To enhance the dynamic and static performance of the dual asynchronous motor speed control system, a control method combining cross-coupling control strategy and sliding mode control is proposed. The traditional PID control is replaced by sliding mode control for synchronous control, improving the system’s response speed and the synchronization of rotational speed. To mitigate the chattering problem of traditional sliding mode controllers, a new sliding mode controller based on an innovative exponential approach law is introduced. This new approach law employs hyperbolic sine and arctangent functions, adopting a variable bandwidth approach based on the system state variables, effectively reducing chattering and further improving synchronous control performance. Simulation experiments validate the feasibility and effectiveness of this control method and the new approach law.
