E-module enhances teaching of weaving in Form 3 visual arts education, suggesting improved student engagement.
This article discusses the development of a woven craft teaching e-module for Form 3 Visual Arts Education (PSV) subjects, which utilizes the Constructivism Theory approach. This e-module is designed to help teachers deliver the teaching of weaving art more effectively through interactive and flexible digital content, as well as in line with the curriculum requirements set out in the Curriculum and Assessment Standard Document (DSKP) of KSSM Visual Arts Education Form 3. The Constructivist Theory founded by Lev Vygotsky became the basis for the development of this e-module, which promotes collaborative learning, the use of scaffolding strategies, and the active involvement of pupils through teacher guidance. By using technological elements, this e-module aims to increase students' motivation and understanding of the art of weaving, while maintaining the value of cultural heritage. This article also outlines the design elements of the e-module based on the ADDIE Model, which includes five main phases: needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The effectiveness of these e-modules depends on the integration of multimedia elements and interactive design that meets the needs of 21st century learning. Thus, this study contributes to the field of art education by providing innovative and effective teaching resources.
