This study seeks to comprehend the role of employee voice as a mediator amid its antecedents and job satisfaction within the Indian banking sector. Data was compiled from 445 personnel from top four banking institutions About 31% of bank branches selected had formal worker voice via structured, policy-backed feedback and grievance mechanisms. Using structural equation modelling and Smart PLS, the model was verified for full and partial mediation of employee voice. The findings show a noteworthy connection between emotional safety and worker voice. A notable association was also found amid organisational-based self-worth and worker voice. The results also show a strong link amid worker voice and job fulfilment. The inclusion of worker voice as a mediator and analysis of relationships within the realm of social exchange theory is an exceptional characteristic of this study. This study is a distinctive investigation in adapting the Western constructs within the Indian context, effectively bridging a void in the existing body of facts. It approves existing theoretical frameworks, especially emphasising the enduring relevance of psychological safety, self-esteem, and job satisfaction in making sense of representative conduct across assorted hierarchical settings.
