Empirical research reveals the effect of social instability on psychological resilience in university students, suggesting key interventions.
The article presents the main milestones of the research process on the formation of psychological resilience among university students. The authors provide a structured and consistent cycle of actions that allow achieving a high degree of certainty in understanding the formation of students’ psychological resilience. Within the framework of the described article, special attention is paid to the presence of the social instability factor in the student learning process. Thus, at all stages of empirical research, all observations, experiments, and further recommendations related to the research subject are described through the prism of social instability. Among references to other authors, there are authoritative and fundamental works on the development of psychological resilience by modern scientists and educators such as Vasilyeva O.S. and Erofeev A.K. The relevance of the research topic is based on the importance and complexity of the program for forming students’ psychological resilience, as it is over the past couple of decades that the influence of the social instability factor on university students has dramatically increased. Among the factors of social instability, the rapidly changing educational environment is particularly notable, which does not always anticipate social and technological trends and the necessary level of training for future specialists. A vivid example here is the situation when a person enters a university and undergoes training according to an educational program that meets the requirements of 5 years ago, and sometimes even less relevant ones. That is why it is crucial to form psychological resilience among students during the learning process, as upon leaving the university, young people face an even more complex and multifaceted professional path. The result of the conducted research is clear, practically applicable recommendations on how to form, measure, and control the psychological resilience of university students’ personalities.
