This review uncovers how genotype analysis and protein sequences impact addiction-related disorders, suggesting new diagnostic paths.
Addictions can be traced to a great extend to the shared genetic and environmental etiological factors thus emphasizing the importance of the role played by the genotype in the detection of addiction related disorders. Through the understanding of the genomic information of an addicted individual i.e., the DNA sequences, a custom-made understanding can be provided to that particular addicted individual's specific genetic makeup. Moreover, implementation of soft computing-based techniques enables in determining protein secondary sequences, thereby exploring genes sequences for different addiction related disorder which can be isolated and studied upon. Further on, as we dwell deeper into the paper, we tend to comprehend the importance knowing protein secondary sequences in the analysis associated with Addiction related disorder.
