The study is devoted to the development of scientifically substantiated models for organizing agricultural school education in the conditions of the Far North, aimed at overcoming the existing disproportions between the personnel training system and the needs of the agro-industrial complex. Based on a comprehensive analysis of statistical data, the regulatory framework and the functioning of agricultural schools in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), problems of staffing the agro-industrial complex associated with the territorial uneven distribution of educational institutions, the discrepancy between their activities and modern production requirements and legislative restrictions are identified. Two models of organizing educational and production activities of agricultural schools are proposed and scientifically substantiated – patronage and cooperative. The conditions for their effective implementation are determined taking into account regional specifics.
