Analysis of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance for taxi vehicle fleets reveals pricing and loss ratio trends.
To date, since the adoption of the law on compulsory motor third-party liability insurance in 2003, more than 12000 articles and publications have been written on the problems of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance. However, the problems of insuring corporate vehicle fleets, which play an increasingly important role in the modern world, such as taxis, car sharing, and car rental, have been considered very poorly; according to the Russian Science Citation Index, there are only 664 publications using the search keywords "Taxi compulsory motor thirdparty liability insurance". This work is devoted to the analysis of the modern practice of compulsory motor third-party liability insurance for taxi vehicle fleets, identifying the features of insurance in this segment, and considering trends and factors influencing the conclusion of contracts, pricing, and loss ratios.
