This study mainly aims to discuss the role of digital technologies in encouraging the digital entrepreneurial mind-set of college students in China. At present, China is focusing on strengthening its digital economy, which actually helps in creating the ground for digital entrepreneurship intentions among college students across China. A qualitative analysis has been used for conducting this study. A semi-structured interview of three Chinese college students has been included in this study to collect first-hand data relevant to the topic. It is evident from the findings and analysis of this study that support from universities and colleges is a key factor in motivating students for entrepreneurial activities. Entrepreneurship courses, training and competition are necessary for improving entrepreneurial mind-set among college students. In addition, the prevalence of digital technologies helps in fostering innovative ideas among college students. Moreover, with the help of digital platforms college students can increase their entrepreneurial skills, knowledge and experience. Thus, it can contribute to developing digital entrepreneurship intentions among Chinese college students. Since digital entrepreneurship completely depends on digital tools and digital platforms, the use of advanced digital technologies like AI, ML and data analysis can support the entrepreneurial competence of young college students for starting a new business online. In this context, this study also suggests focusing more on digital government building and entrepreneurial education to increase the digital entrepreneurship intentions of Chinese college students effectively.
