The article discusses some issues related to the stylistic aspect of figurative verbs in Kyrgyz language. In Kyrgyz linguistics, figurative verbs have been considered mainly in the morphological aspect, and their lexic-semantic, stylistic, functional and other features have not yet been studied. In this regard, the article discusses some issues related to the stylistic aspect of figurative verbs, i.e., issues related to their stylistic nature and scope of use. Since the character, additional meanings, and semantic nuances of movement or state expressed by this category of verbs, and as a result, the stylistic function of figurative verbs is specific, they are used only in artistic style (literary texts) and in oral colloquial style to give speech imagery, expressiveness, and emotionality. This specificity of figurative verbs is shown by examples from the epic «Manas». Such verbs are not found in official business or scientific styles, and their use in the journalistic style is limited and conditional. Despite the fact that the expressive potential of figurative verbs is huge, their stylistic scope of use is limited.
