The article examines the experience of implementing interdisciplinary approach to the process of teaching physics course for biology specialization at the university. It is emphasized that the interdisciplinary connections between physics and biology is actualized and becomes an important part of the teaching process in conditions of a low school base, low motivation and lack of understanding among students about the role of studying physics in the course of mastering their chosen profession. It is shown that the disclosure of the physical essence of the basic processes in wildlife gives a significant increase of interest in biology students in studying physics.
