This analysis highlights how Instagram enhances teaching and engagement in English courses, indicating its potential.
The use of social networks as support tools in teaching and learning processes is becoming increasingly popular because they offer an innovative and motivating alternative for teachers and students. This article focuses on techno-pedagogical practices implemented through the social network Instagram in the English subject offered in the Law and University Technician in Financial Management programs at the Faculty of Economic, Legal and Social Sciences of the National University of San Luis. We chose this social network because it is a highly popular visual platform among young people, which makes it possible to complement language teaching in a dynamic and attractive context that motivates the participation and interest of users. The objective of this article is to comment on the activities that were carried out through Instagram as a complement to face-to-face English classes, and to know and analyze students´engagement and their perceptions about the activities proposed.
