The Imperatives of Professional Selection as a Tool for the Ensuring Security and Development of Scientific Personnel Potential of the Russian Academy of Sciences

The issues of professional selection as a tool for ensuring security and developing the scientific personnel potential of the Russian Academy of Sciences in a tense socio-political situation and ensuring national security, which allows motivating new forms of civil activity in the field of scientific activity, were considered. Imperatives are formulated, the role is shown and a model of professional selection is proposed to improve the quality of scientific personnel potential. The complex task of objectifying elections to the Russian Academy of Sciences, which is of national importance for scientific and technical policy, is considered and an option is proposed to modernize the institution of these elections.
