The article considers the problem of developing cooperation between vertically integrated agro-industrial structures (VIAS) and small farms (SF) in Russia. The advantages and disadvantages of various forms of interaction between VIAS and SF, including contract manufacturing, cooperative associations, franchising and technical support are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the development of a decentralized platform based on blockchain technologies, which ensures transparency and security of transactions between participants. The proposed interaction scheme helps to strengthen trust between VIAS and SF, reduce transaction costs and increase the efficiency of interaction. The prospects for the development of cooperation are considered and measures to stimulate it are proposed, including state support and educational initiatives. The article is of interest to researchers dealing with the development of the agro-industrial complex and increasing its competitiveness in the context of modern realities.
