Abstract

In November–December 2021, a salvage excavation was conducted at 14 Yehuda Ha-Yammit Street in Yafo (Permit No. A-9161; map ref. 177257–88/661939–54; Fig. 1) prior to development and construction work. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Ken-Hator Ltd., was directed by A. Massarwa, with the assistance of Y. Amrani and Z. Lotan (administration), I. Jonish (photogrammetry and field photography), I. Radashkovsky (metal detection), A. Dagot (GIS), Y. Gumenny and M. Abu (plans and sections), P. Gendelman (pottery), D. Aladjem (pottery scanning), A. Glick (ammunition), D. Gazit (studio photography), L. Perry-Gal (archaeozoology), Y. Tepper (scientific guidance) and L. Rauchberger (tobacco pipes; Appendix 1).
