Commentary on holotype discovery and typification of Celastrus wallichii and Celastrus stylosus.
Following the discovery of a previously unrecognised holotype of Celastrus wallichii G. Don in Paris (P), this name is reinstated as legitimate and is now the correct name of the species previously named C. monospermoides Loes. Additionally, C. stylosus Wall. is re‐lectotypified based on original material, as the earlier inadvertent typification is considered to have no nomenclatural standing.
