Evaluation method quantifies gas pipeline networks' resilience under disturbances, suggesting improved recovery strategies.
To enhance the response and recovery capabilities of gas pipeline networks in the face of sudden disturbances, complex network theory is introduced to ex-plore the performance changes of gas pipeline networks under disturbances. A network performance function that comprehensively considers the structural and functional dimensions of gas pipeline networks is proposed. Combined with the resilience stage, a performance response function method is adopted to es-tablish an evaluation method for quantifying system resilience. This evaluation process covers the entire process from the system's resistance and adaptation to disturbances to the restoration of specific functions. An example of a certain gas pipeline network system is used for practical application.
