Automated system reviews external alerts, analyzing cosmic messengers, with implications for neutrino detection.
KM3NeT is a European research infrastructure developing second-generation multi-km3 neutrino telescopes on the Mediterranean Sea floor. It consists of two detectors targeting complementary neutrino energy regimes: KM3NeT/ARCA for TeV-PeV neutrinos and KM3NeT/ORCA for GeVfew TeV neutrinos. Within the KM3NeT collaboration, an automated system continuously monitors and analyses realtime external alerts originating from various cosmic messengers, including neutrinos, gravitational waves, and electromagnetic signals across the whole spectrum. This contribution provides a review of the analysis methodologies exploited for the follow-up and a summary of the results obtained with the data during the KM3NeT detector operation.
