Simulation reveals critical pressure behaviors and flow patterns of mine water in porous aquifers, indicating recharge methods.
In order to study the hydrodynamic field of mine water in the storage aquifer, according to the actual situation of the study area, the fissures and pores in the storage aquifer are considered as dual water storage media. Based on the change of saturation and pressures at the bottom of the well and other layers, we studied the hydrodynamic field of mine water in the storage aquifer with pressurized. And simulated multiple scenarios, up to three years. We got conclusions as followed: Firstly, mine water mainly flow through fractures, in storage aquifer. Fracture porosity is a critical factor. Meanwhile, the directions of fractures and recharge style are also related. Secondly, the pressure of bottom in the single-well is tend to stable after initial increase. But in the case of simultaneous reinjection from multiple wells, there is no mutual interference between different wells in the initial pressure from different wells, but interference gradually forms over time. The impact of pressure appears in the subsequent injection when its recharge in order. Simultaneous injection of multiple wells is better when it requires large flow rate. In the opposite, recharge in order is more appropriate for ordinary situation.
