First person – Stepan Vodopyanov

First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Stepan Vodopyanov is first author on ‘ Beyond cysts – organization of epithelial networks in the murine thymus’, published in JCS. Stepan is a research technician (electron microscopy specialist) in the lab of George S. Karagiannis at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, USA, investigating the ultrastructure of animal cells and tissues, with a current focus on lymphoid organs.
