Abstract This study examines the stability of a mathematical model for the dynamics of hepatitis B spread, dividing the population into six compartments. Through qualitative analysis, we determined the basic reproduction number R 0 and investigated its asymptomatic behavior under various conditions, considering both progressive and non-progressive disease scenarios (stability and instability regions). Utilizing existing literature values, numerical simulations were conducted to validate the theoretical findings. The model with biological controls demonstrates that frequent sensitization campaigns throughout the year can help eradicate the disease in the population.
