In [2], A. K. Das introduced the notions of weak ∆−normality and weakly functionally ∆−normality, arguing that they are different. We prove their equivalence in this note. Furthermore, we give proper substitutes for a few erroneous examples found in [2]. We establish that aclosed almost continuous image of a normal space is weak ∆−normal, and the weak ∆−normality is a topological as well as an additive property.
