Let π π be the π-th Mulatu number. Let π, π be non-zero integers with π β₯ 1 and π β {β1, 1}, let {π π } πβ₯0 be the generalized Lucas sequence and {π π } πβ₯0 its companion given respectively by π π+2 = ππ π+1 + π π π and π π+2 = ππ π+1 + π π π , with π 0 = 0, π 1 = 1, π 0 = 2, π 1 = π. In this paper, we give effective bounds for the solutions of the following Diophantine equations π π = π π π π π π and π π = π π π π π π , where π, π, π and π are nonnegative integers and π β€ π β€ π. Then, we explicitly solve the above Diophantine equations for the Fibonacci, Pell, Balancing sequences and their companions respectively.
