The aim of the research is to identify similar and specific types of parcelled constructions in Russian, Chuvash and English. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comprehensive comparative analysis of the structural-grammatical and functional-semantic organization of parcelling in languages with different syntax organization. One of the languages being compared is the agglutinative Chuvash language, which demonstrates significant potential for linguistic research, including its expressive syntax. The article describes typical kinds of parcelling in the mentioned languages. It is shown that the syntax organization of the reviewed languages has a direct impact on the functional and structural nature of parcelling in each of them. Examples of types of parcels are provided, based on the developed system of criteria for their analysis. As a result, it is determined that in the English language, a completed syntactic structure is parcelled off much more often than in Russian and Chuvash. Additionally, a distinguishing feature of the Chuvash parcel is noted: its comparatively predominant preposition in a sentence. Specific and most characteristic types of parcelled constructions in the English language are identified. They are linear sequentially parcelled into separate words and phrases constructions, as well as a paragraph-level parcel.
