Backgraund. The development of digital technologies in forensic medicine ensures the success of individual expert tasks and demonstrates the prospect of digital transformation in forensic activity. Aims - to examine the relationship of the attitude of forensic experts towards the process of digital transformation in their professional activity. Materials and methods. The survey has been made for 77 forensic experts from the Bureau of Forensic Examination of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Voronezh, Kirov and Samara regions. Results. The representation of forensic practitioners on the relevance and importance of digital transformation in forensic activity has been received. The recommendations for optimization of digital transformation in forensic medical activity were phrased. Conclusions. The forensic experts have a low level of cognitive activity on the issue of digital transformation in forensic activity. In this case, experts have an articulated comprehension of the relevance of digital transformation for their professional activity and the cognitive importance of digital technologies for expert knowledge.
