Essential Arterial Hypertension (EAH) is one of the leading cause of kidney damage worldwide. Objective of the research: to investigate the linkage of some kidney function parameters with clinical and laboratory data in hypertensive patients depending on ADD1 gene polymorphism (rs4961).Material and methods: 100 EAH patients participated in the study. All participant underwent a complex of clinical and laboratory examinations. There were analyzed lipid profile data (total cholesterol (TC), high-, low density lipoproteins (HDL-C, LDL-C), atherogenity index (AI), triacylglycerols (TG)), blood glucose, creatinine (cr), Cystatin-C (cys), bilirubin, cholecalciferol, ionized calcium, parathyroid hormone (PTH), albuminuria values, glomerular filtration rate (GFR) and Blood Pressure (BP) level.Body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), hip circumference (HC) and waist to hip ratio (WHR) were also determined.ADD1 (rs4961) gene polymorphism genotyping performed by Real-Time PCR.Results: The chronic kidney disease (CKD) development in EAH patients is generally influenced by gender (more often in women after GFR reduction r=0.40; p=0.004 and τ=0.26; p<0.05), creatinine and cystatin-C increase (r=0.65-0.95;p<0.001),BP elevation -systolic (SBP), diastolic (DBP) and EAH severity (τ=0.35 and τ=0.20; p<0.05), total vitamin D metabolites lowering in hypertensive patients with T-allele of the ADD1 gene (1378G>T, rs4961) (τ=-0.32;p<0.05), and in the GG-genotype patients -the presence of diabetes mellitus type 2 (τ=0.23;p<0.05) and age (r=0.33;p=0.019).Albuminuria Журнал «Перспективи та інновації науки» (Серія «Педагогіка», Серія «Психологія», Серія «Медицина») № 8(42) 2024 956 in EAH patients is associated strongly and directly with SBP, DBP increase and EAH severity regardless of polymorphic variants of the ADD1 gene (rs4961T) (r=0.72-0.92;P<0.001), in GG-genotype carriers additionally with WHR (r=0.30;Р=0.037), blood creatinine and Cystatin-C values (r=0.32;Р=0.025), and in the Tallele patients (rs4961) -with TG blood concentration (r=0.38;Р=0.024), creatinine (τ=0.22;р<0.05) and inversely with GFRcys (r=-0.35;Р=0.036).
