Law Enforcement of Drug Abuse Against Children in the Sidoarjo Police Department

This research is a sociological juridical research method with an empirical approach. Primary legal material is an interview with Mr. Moch. Junaedi, S.H., M.M as Kaur Bin Ops (KBO) Satresnarkoba which data obtained from special police conducted directly to Sidoarjo Police to get in-depth information about the view of the Police in handling drug cases committed by children. This research shows that drugs are still a scary specter for society, of course for children. Environmental factors are also one of the factors supporting children to use drugs. However, the difference lies in the investigation and judicial process, where adult offenders follow the general judicial process, while underage offenders are governed by the Child Protection Act and the Juvenile Justice System Act will be reduced by one-third of the adult sentence.
