This research aims to determine the role of muhadharah as an effort to increase the success of students at the Al Fattah Buduran Islamic Boarding School, Sidoarjo. This research takes the form of a descriptive qualitative method with data collection using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data was then processed using the Miles and Huberman technique which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The data collection found that muhadharah activities were carried out thrice a week, namely every Saturday morning, Saturday evening, and Sunday evening. These muhadharah activities indirectly hone the students' abilities in the areas of literacy, note-taking, time management, and public speaking, good character, and hone the students' sense of confidence in conveying the truth. These abilities are some of the abilities that students need to succeed in academic and non-academic terms.
