Logistics Hubs Development as a Part of Custom Policy

The article explores the role of logistics hubs in customs logistics, an essential and modern tool for enhancing the efficiency of international trade by custom policy. Customs logistics, a critical part of economic activity, encompasses customs regulation that reflects the implementation of national customs policy. Logistics hubs are key elements in business operations and a significant component of a postal business. The aim of the article is to analyze and systematize the conditions for utilizing logistics hubs in customs logistics, using the example of a major postal operator engaged in international transportation, especially under wartime conditions, to identify potential areas for improving customs policy. The study employs empirical data analysis and descriptive methods, along with theoretical approaches such as induction and classification. The article highlights the crucial role of customs administration in logistics hubs, particularly for a country facing complex political and economic challenges, such as Ukraine. Indicators of the development and functioning of logistics hubs are calculated using the example of big postal business Nova Poshta LLC, and a strategy for the development of logistics hubs in customs logistics for such businesses is proposed. These prospects should also be taken into account by the government when developing customs policy. The article emphasizes the need for balanced regulation and government support for the growth of logistics hubs within the framework of customs policy, which is a vital element of strategic economic management. It concludes that current government policy in Ukraine pays insufficient attention to the systemic regulation and comprehensive development of logistics hubs, failing to fully leverage the advantages of customs administration and logistics.
