Genome assembly identifies 36,665 protein-coding genes in Cryptus armator, highlighting its mitochondrial genome structure.
<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly from a female specimen of <ns3:italic>Cryptus armator</ns3:italic> (ichneumonid wasp; Arthropoda; Insecta; Hymenoptera; Ichneumonidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 366.66 megabases. Most of the assembly (65.24%) is scaffolded into 11 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 30.84 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 36,665 protein-coding genes.</ns3:p>
