A new genus and new species of sesarmid crab is described from Bogor in West Java Province, Indonesia. Chriselatium schubarti new genus, new species, is morphologically most similar to Selatium , and Lithoselatium , but differs markedly in a suite of carapace, cheliped, ambulatory leg, and male pleonal characters. While Selatium and Lithoselatium are found in mangroves and coastal habitats, Chriselatium new genus was collected in a freshwater habitat that is over 60 km from the nearest coastline.
