Psychodynamics of depression

This report with generalized psychodynamic processes in the psychoanalysis of patients with depression may be in demand from a practical point of view for novice psychoanalysts. The paper highlights such phenomena as resistance, negative therapeutic reaction, stages of therapy, causes of depression. The study was conducted in the paradigm of clinical psychoanalysis, the data were obtained empirically, and a clinical case was presented with the justification of interventions. It must be recognized that despite the difference in etiopathogenesis and the course of therapy, it is possible to make up a general dynamic structure of psychoanalysis of patients with depressive episodes labeled in medicine F32 – F33.9 and supplemented with anxiety-phobic disorders F40 – F41.9.
