This study presents new whole rock major and trace element petrographic and geochronological data for three Permian granitoid intrusions of the northeastern Taimyr Peninsula (Chelyuskin Peninsula). U-Pb zircon ages (SIMS SHRIMP) define the crystallization age of the studied Taimyr intrusions as ranging from ca. 282 to 255 Ma, suggesting two magmatic pulses of Early Permian and Middle Permian age. We propose the adakitic geochemical composition of the Permian granites indicate their formation as the result of post-collisional slab melting.
